Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub ENT

About the Role
As a Senior Theatre Practitioner – Scrub, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care within the theatre team. Specialising in ENT procedures, you'll also scrub across a variety of surgical specialities. You'll bring clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring every patient receives safe and effective care.

This is a senior role, so you’ll also be expected to:

Deliver complex clinical care with minimal supervision

Support and mentor junior team members

Co-ordinate and delegate responsibilities within the theatre

Help develop and maintain high standards of practice

You will be part of a team that works on a weekend rota and participates in an out-of-hours on-call service, which you will be expected to support.

What We’re Looking For
ENT Scrub experience is essential

Confident scrubbing across a range of surgical specialities

Strong understanding of perioperative practice and patient care standards

Proven ability to lead and support colleagues within a theatre setting

Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years post-registration experience

At least 2 years' scrub experience

NMC or HCPC registered (RGN or ODP)

Recognised Perioperative Practice qualification
